WHO WE ARE
ANIMAL RESCUE & K9 CHARITIES, Inc (ARK Charities), is an independent boutique-rescue organization dedicated to Animal Welfare & Education. ARK was created to rescue animals in need and to rehabilitate, heal and rehome dogs into carefully screened, loving forever homes where they become valued family members and assist the people who love and need them.
Whether it be physically or therapeutically, animals can be an amazing, life-changing addition and blessing to a person or family.
ARK Charities' seek to make a difference through advocacy by not only providing the animals, but also by educating adopters and tomorrow's animal advocates. Strength and positive change comes through knowledge; what better place to start than in our own communities.
Ark Charities is composed of three programs in one organization.
Redemption Rescue is Ark Charities rescue branch. It's mission is to rescue animals from desperate situations and high kill shelters, where every year millions of animals are euthanized across the country. We are committed to rescuing, and rehabilitating, German Shepherds and other dogs. We find them safe and loving forever homes.
The ARK Angel Assistance program is designed to identify rescue dogs that can be trained to assist our military veterans and children with disabilities in a variety of ways as needed.
After training, they serve a unique
purpose in helping people by providing therapy & assistance.

The Ark Educational Program
Fosters a more compassionate and sustainable world through humane education.
We provide lessons with humane education & activities that support core learning standards across a range of academic subjects and integrate with learning frameworks, such as Social and Emotional Learning.
